Delivery Policy

1. Overview

This Delivery Policy applies to all orders placed with DM Contracts & North Shore Interiors LTD, trading as Donegal Contract Furniture.

We supply contract furniture for commercial environments, including restaurants, hotels, cafés, bars and other hospitality venues. Delivery arrangements are agreed at the time of order confirmation.


2. Delivery Areas

Donegal Contract Furniture delivers throughout Ireland and the United Kingdom. Delivery to other locations may be available upon request.

Delivery charges and transport arrangements may vary depending on:

  • Delivery location

  • Order size and quantity

  • Delivery access conditions

  • Special delivery requirements

All delivery costs will be confirmed during the quotation or order process.


3. Delivery Timeframes

Delivery timeframes vary depending on the type of product ordered.

Many of our products are manufactured to order, and production times may vary depending on:

  • Manufacturing schedules

  • Product specifications

  • Upholstery selections

  • Supplier availability

Estimated lead times will be provided at the time of quotation or order confirmation. These lead times are estimates only and may be subject to change.

Donegal Contract Furniture cannot guarantee delivery dates and shall not be held responsible for delays outside our reasonable control.


4. Delivery Arrangements

Delivery details will be confirmed once an order has been placed.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that:

  • Delivery access is suitable for vehicles

  • The delivery location is safe and accessible

  • Adequate arrangements are in place for unloading where necessary

In some cases, assistance may be required for unloading larger items.


5. Failed Deliveries

If delivery cannot be completed due to issues outside the control of Donegal Contract Furniture, including but not limited to:

  • Restricted or unsafe access

  • No one available to receive the delivery

  • Incorrect delivery details provided by the customer

additional charges may apply for:

  • Re-delivery

  • Storage of goods

  • Additional transport costs


6. Delivery Inspection

Customers should inspect all goods immediately upon delivery.

If goods are damaged or incorrect, this must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

Customers may be asked to provide:

  • Photographs of the issue

  • Order details

  • A description of the damage or discrepancy

Failure to report issues within this timeframe may affect our ability to investigate or resolve the matter.


7. Risk and Responsibility

Risk in the goods transfers to the customer upon delivery to the specified address.

Once goods have been delivered and accepted, the customer assumes responsibility for the care and storage of the products.


8. Delays Outside Our Control

Donegal Contract Furniture shall not be liable for delivery delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Transport or courier delays

  • Manufacturing delays

  • Supply chain disruptions

  • Weather conditions

  • Customs or regulatory delays
